Norton Ditto Clothier to Carry J. Paul Skin Care Line

[Houston, Texas] (August 13, 2010) J. Paul Skin Care of Houston, Texas announced today that Norton Ditto Men’s Clothier of Houston, TX will begin to carry J. Paul Men’s Skin Care at its River Oaks location. Sales begin August 16th. J. Paul CEO, Paul Looney, said he is excited about the opportunity to partner with one of Houston’s oldest and premier men’s stores. "For over a century Norton Ditto has been one of Houston’s most coveted men’s stores providing Houstonians with some of the finest collections of clothing and accessories. With its esteemed reputation and long history of providing exceptional clothing lines to its customers, Norton Ditto provides J. Paul immediate access to a large section of its target market."

J. Paul, which officially launched in May of 2010, is targeting the men’s high-end skin care market with five initial product offerings: pre-shave, shave cream, aftershave, body lotion and body wash. The company has designed its products to be multi-functional and can address several skin care needs at once. J. Paul has built its line of products around its flagship product, Glide Shave Cream. The product was developed for men of all ethnic backgrounds who have very tough coarse beards and who develop frequent razor burn and dryness.

Adrian White-Kreps, who serves as Norton Ditto’s buyer, commented on the new Norton Ditto-J. Paul partnership. “ When J. Paul initially approached us, we weren’t looking to add any new skin care lines as part of our product offerings. However, after our sales associates tried the Glide Shave Cream and were ecstatic about its performance, I was sold. Glide truly is a fantastic product.” As part of the partnership, Kreps said that Norton Ditto will help promote J. Paul’s products and allow the company to participate in special marketing promotions and in-store shows that it offers to its clientele. “J. Paul is targeting a similar marketplace that Norton Ditto has long been entrenched. In that regard, there is a strong synergy. We look forward to working with J. Paul as it continues to grow and expand its market presence here in Houston,” Kreps said.

As part of J. Paul’s launch into the Houston market, the company will participate in Norton Ditto’s upcoming fall trunk show being held at the River Oaks location on September 25th. With the roll-out of Norton Ditto’s new fall fashions, J. Paul will be set to introduce its new line of products to the city of Houston.
